Eulogy

Blackout immersive theatre specialists Darkfield return with a new show set – as ever – in pitch darkness. Running as part of the immersive art and XR portion of the BFI Film Festival, ‘Eulogy’ will see participants step into a blacked-out shipping container for a half-hour experience in which binaural sound relayed via headphones and speech recognition technology will transport them – in their imaginations, at least – into a ‘dreamlike, labyrinthine hotel’ which you can navigate, presumably by giving voice commands. This probably makes a lot more sense if you’ve seen one of Darkfield’s other shows, but trust us, it’s a trip.
