Not the recent hit animation play from 1927, this 'Golem' purports to be based on the tale that inspired Mary Shelly's 'Frankenstein'. Whether or not that's true, this show certainly taps into the same sort of horror as the novel. It's the tale of a rabbi of Prague sent to protect the Jews of Prague from a pogrom by creating a Golem to save them. The piece has been written by screenwriter Richard Waring and is directed by Luke Dixon.
