Time Out says

David Eldridge’s new play is a drama about modern marriage

After the success of his delightful National Theatre romcom ‘Beginning’, playwright David Eldridge has only gone and announced that it was the first part of a trilogy, that will continue with part two, ‘Middle’ (and presumably the name of the final part is pretty guess-able). Although ‘Middle’ returns Eldridge to the Dorfman in the company of director Polly Findlay, it will follow a different couple to ‘Beginning’s tentative first daters, with Claire Rushbrook and Daniel Ryan starring as Gary and Maggie in a play that’s billed as a raw, touching and funny portrait of twenty-first-century marriage.
