The great Roy Williams adapts Trinidadian author Sam Selvon’s 1956 novel about a group of Windrush generation immigrants in post-World War Two London. It centres on the characterful Henry ‘Sir Galahad’ Oliver, who arrives in London full of excitement only to discover his friends have soured on it already. Ebenezer Bamgboye directs.
