This rare UK stage outing for one of the works of popular German playwright Franz Xaver comes with an excellent cast led by heavyweights Anna Francolini and Michael Shaeffer as married couple Martha and Otto, with young actor Jonah Rzeskiewicz as their son, Ludwig. This drama about the humorously corrosive effects of capitalism on one family’s lives is directed by 2021 Genesis Future Directors Award-winner Diyan Zora.
