Arts in Parliament: Godiva Awakes

An exhibition in Westminster Hall, 'Godvia Awakes' is part of the West Midland's commission for the Art's Council's 'Artists Taking the Lead' programme, which in turn is part of the Cultural Olympiad (and on show here under the banner 'Arts in Parliament'). Imagineer Productions have created a ten-metre-high marionette of Lady Godiva. The exhibition also includes Godiva’s coat, designed by Zandra Rhodes, and the 'Book of Intent', a large, aluminium book with 12 pages created by young people from the West Midlands.
