At Home with the Queen
© Museum of London At Home with the Queen
A display of photographs to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, capturing Londoners at home with souvenirs of the Queen. Twelve Londoners were professionally photographed as part of the show, including Brenda Wilshere, who grew up playing in the WWII bombsites of Leyton, and Mak Gilchrist, a fashion model, community activist and co-founder of the Edible Bus Stop. Royal souvenirs dating back to the time of Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee in 1897 are also on display, including trinkets and tableware.
