Jimmy Garcia is channelling his years of experience working in the Alps to his chalet pop-up, The Refuge. Warm your cockles with raclette burgers, venison hot dogs and truffle and parmesan fries, alongside bowls of fondue that are perfect for sharing. Check out the casual bar or have a respite at the sit-down restaurant, where seasonal grub comes perfectly paired with hot cocktails, mulled wine and giant marshmallows to toast at the table.

Fed up of being in the same old stomping ground? ‘Tis the season to check out the array of bars on offer. The coolest of them all, Bar Ice is kept at a chilly -10°C, yet keeps you cosy with cloaks and gloves, perfect for sipping cocktails in pre-carved ice glasses. Meanwhile, the Pepsi MAX Fire Pit Bar is a toasty open-air bar that’ll keep you grooving to DJs and bands. Adding a little extra oompah to your after-work drinks, Bavarian Village is giving you an authentic German vibe, complete with food, drinks and tunes. Book ahead with table packages available for eight to ten people if you’re planning to make an event of it. From Oktoberfest-style bratwurst and sliced potatoes to steins of Bavarian Gold and mulled wine, there’s plenty to fill your belly. Prost!
