Four. Whole. Days. The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – which marks 70 years of her reign – is giving us an extra bank holiday, which means we get to celebrate from June 2-5. The real question is, what are you going to do? Regent Street and St James’s are going all-out with activities, screenings, live entertainment, workshops and more, culminating in the Jermyn Street Fete on June 4. Let’s take a closer look at what else is happening, shall we?

1. For the Jermyn Street Fete

Sure to be a highlight of the weekend, the Jermyn Street Fete (Saturday June 4) will be a royally good time. Lined with flags above the street and closed to traffic, the street will host stalls, live music, entertainment, and of course, afternoon tea. St James’s is coming together with The Ritz and Nyetimber to offer cream and jam scones, moreish sweet pastries and tasty sandwiches from an afternoon tea bus. Choose between a nice cuppa, or an English sparkling wine from Nyetimber. It's all bound to look great on your Insta feed – share your photos using the hashtag #StJamesJubilee.

In St James’s Market (just near Piccadilly Circus), Jubilee celebrations across the country will be screened live. So, why not sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere? There will even be deck chairs dotted around, so fingers crossed for some sunshine! If you can’t make it, no worries – you’ll be able to catch creative masterclasses, Q&As and more from BAFTA in the public piazza until June 12.
