The national 'Kids Love the Races' roadshow is visiting 20 racecourses across the summer and on Saturday August 31 budding London jockeys and horse enthusiasts can join them in Surrey at Sandown Park Racecourse for a day of horsey fun. As well as races throughout the day (2-5.30pm) they can enjoy finding out more about the equine and human stars of the sport, jump aboard a horse simulator and take part in a race, design their own racing silks and take a look at some specialist racing equipment. There will also be chance to check out what racehorses eat to keep them in tip-top condition and learn about what happens at the track.
