Ever notice that influencers seem to always be eating, drinking and living better than you? Yeah, us too—and we want in. So each week, we ask one of these in-the-know Miamians to share their access and answer a city-centric burning question.

What restaurant in Miami gives you the most bang for your buck?

According to Mitch of Mitch & Mel Take Miami, Barley offers the city’s best value.

“We’re not always into eating plates of food the size of our face, but when we’re in the need of a family-of-four-style fix, we tend to head to head to any of the myriad Cuban restaurants in Little Havana, where portion control means your leftovers only last for another three days. That said, if we’re looking for a spot that serves up quantity as well as quality, Barley in Downtown Dadeland has to be at the top of that list. Although you can easily enjoy a meal comprised of any of the Latin Brasserie’s small plates, it’s the larger dishes that truly give you the most bang for your buck. Case in point, this mammoth 14oz tomahawk Niman Ranch pork chop with creamy polenta for only $33 or some squid ink linguini with buttered crab for only $26. And, for those that like big brunches, Chef Jorgie Ramos has you covered there as well with the likes of his fried chicken and bread pudding waffles (considered “small" by Barley standards) for only $14.” 8945 SW 72nd Pl (786-623-6733)
