Soon you won’t have to trek to Wynwood for your artisanal doughnut fix. The truck-cum-shop that’s had patrons lining up since day one opens its second outpost in South Miami (6022 South Dixie Hwy, South Miami) next Friday, May 24th. The new Salty Donut takes over the former Fox’s Lounge locale for its much-anticipated expansion.

To celebrate the occasion, Salty teams up with frequent collaborator Havana Club on a limited-edition rum cake doughnut. The boozy treat features layers of brioche that have been rolled in cinnamon sugar and filled with a rum-infused crème de vie. Should you need more alcohol in your life, customers over the age of 21 receive a free mini bottle of Havana Club with their purchase.

The special doughnut goes on sale on opening day (May 24!) and will only be available for 10 days. If you’ve ever experienced the madness of a Salty limited run, you know these things will go fast—better start queueing up now.
