It’s almost Thanksgiving which means it’s also almost Black Friday, that most capitalist of holidays where Americans are encouraged to elbow each other in the head for a chance at a $45 discount on a flat screen TV. Look, we’re not going to pretend we even slightly understand the impulse to wait outside a Walmart at 4am—however—we’re all for a good deal and there are actually some cool ways to shop local this Black Friday. Below, we’ve compiled some Miami-centric Black Friday specials that won’t leave you bleeding on the floor of a Target.
- The Arsht Center is running a Cyber Monday sale on November 26 with tickets up to 50 percent off. The Nutcracker, Andrea Boccelli and more shows are up for grabs.
- III Points has released limited single-day tickets for just $65. The deal is only available now until Monday, November 26.
- From Black Friday through Cyber Monday, the National Hotel is offering up to 30 percent off rooms for travel through December 2019.
- Biscayne Bay Brewing Company will have a few different specials on Friday, including $8 six-packs, $25 cases, half off growler fills and more.
- Frost Science is offering 20 percent off (ten percent for non-members) all merch from its Science Store.
