Working from home is great until it’s not. At some point, you’ll want to get away from your family, change out of the same pajamas you’ve been wearing for months (aka your WFH uniform) and stare at different sets of walls other than your own. Though before you pull the trigger on a coworking space, we have a better alternative: hotel rooms.

Yes, lots of Miami hotels are extending daily deals and special rates to folks looking for a change of scenery during work hours. It’s part of the GMCVB’s Work and Learn Remotely program, featuring more than 30 participating properties where unheard of amenities are a reality. Think access to designated Zoom areas, day-camp for kids and coffee service to the room. There’s no long-term commitment or contracts to sign, simply book and enjoy your new WFH perks. Take a look at some of our picks of special day rates targeted at nine-to-fivers below. You won’t regret leaving your tiny home office for a second.

Mr. C Miami Coconut Grove

Book a room at this chic Coconut Grove spot and pretend you’re a high-powered exec for the day. The hotel is really playing up to your new title with perks like a prix-fixe meal delivered to your room, morning coffee service and unlimited printing all day long—you know, the simple pleasures of working from an office.

Novotel Miami Brickell

An office that’s close to happy hour? Sign us up. This centrally located hotel offers everything you’d want from a regular room—a bed, a coffee machine, free Wi-Fi—as well as scanning and printing access and proximity to some of Miami’s best bars. First we work, then we drink.

SLS Brickell / SLS LUX Brickell

Take your nine-to-five to the next level at these Brickell properties where working is a relative term. You’ll settle into your fancy office (available from 8:30am to 5pm) and enjoy discounts on food and drink at the property, parking and more. SLS is even extending a deal on overnight stays if you decide to, you know, “work late,” which, for once, doesn’t seem all that bad.

W Miami

Get a room all to yourself and enjoy some peace and quiet while you work from this luxury high-rise in Brickell. Score a $99 day-rate at W Miami from Monday through Thursday (8am–6pm) and get access to the pool and the lobby bar where cups of Panther Coffee flow. Use code ‘ZDY’ to book.

Intercontinental Miami

This Downtown hotel is pulling out all the stops for its WFH guests. Check in at 8am Monday through Friday and get your car valet parked for free, plus enjoy access to the gym, Wi-Fi, bayfront views and coffee and tea in your room. The best part? You don’t even have to check out. Extending your stay is totally complimentary.

W South Beach

As tempting as it might be to jump in the ocean in the middle of the day, sometimes duty calls. It’s no sweat when you’re working from the W South Beach because the WFH perks kind of make you forget there’s even a beach below. Think on-demand dry-cleaning services, poolside cabanas with internet and a $50 spa credit to help you unwind from the day.

Mandarin Oriental, Miami

We love the suites at this Brickell Key hotel for lounging, but we’re also fans of them for workdays. Book one of the extra-large rooms and get a comfy couch on which to sit back as well as a spacious desk where you can sprawl out with laptops, monitors and everything else you need for a productive day. Printing facilities and access to the fitness center are also available to guests.

Standard Spa, Miami Beach

For those who aren’t rising and grinding, the Standard is a great place to work. Day rates include access to designated workspaces and various hotel amenities from 10am to 4pm. Pro tip: End your day at the Lido, where happy hour is available Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6pm.
