Icelandic icon Björk, who has never performed in Miami before, headlines the annual III Points Art Basel concert series, which brought Young Thug, Todd Terje, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Chet Faker, James Blake and more to Little Haiti last year. She performs at Mana Wynwood on Tuesday, December 5. A few days later, on Saturday, December 9, the Wu-Tang Clan will be taking the same stage.

Rockwell and 1OAK Pop-up

icon-calendar

Rockwell partners with notoriously-impossible-to-get-into NYC club 1OAK for a three-night pop-up that’s sure to be packed full with celebs, rappers and anyone lucky enough to get past the notoriously strict door. This'll be one of those parties that's a royal pain to get into—but probably worth the effort. Added incentive: the lineup is great. Thursday sees Rick Ross, on Friday its Miguel and 2 Chainz wraps things up on Saturday.

Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series Finale

Bombay Sapphire’s annual bash (which celebrates the close of their Artisan Series arts competition) is one you can’t get into unless invited. If you are one of the lucky few to nab a spot on the guest list, expect peak Basel bougie-ness. The party is hosted by the brilliant Issa Rae of HBO’s Insecure and takes place at Villa Casa Casuarina (formerly known as the Versace Mansion). DJ Heron Preston provides the music and you’ll no doubt spot a celebrity or three.

Bacardí and the Dean Collection Present No Commission

Bacardí and Dean Collection’s No Commission is a traveling show that brings music, art and rum together for some seriously unforgettable moments. Last Art Basel, Alicia Keys played an intimate show in Wynwood as part of the series—and Bacardí has previously rangled performers such as Major Lazer, A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, DMX, Pusha T and others. This year’s lineup hasn’t yet been announced, but it’s safe to assume there will be some big names coming to Soho Studios.
