In addition to fan favourites like BMX Flatland, Freestyle Soccer, and urban dance, the 2025 edition will feature new experiences, including Breaking and 3x3 Basketball, interactive sports stations in collaboration with the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ), and a M.A.D. FIBA 3x3 Basketball Tournament

Basketball 3x3 is making a bold debut in the Urban Games lineup, taking over Esplanade PVM at Place Ville Marie. For the occasion, teams from across North America will go head-to-head in a major competition with a coveted spot in the FIBA Lite Quest tournament in Edmonton up for grabs.

Breaking Competition

The Montreal Eaton Centre stage will host the Urban Games’ very first Breaking competition.

This fast-rising discipline will light up the floor with performances from 16 up-and-coming dancers, judged by a sharp-eyed panel.

It's going to be a must-see showdown.

More Activities Than Ever

This year, the festival spans three iconic downtown Montreal locations, offering an even more immersive and accessible experience:

An indoor stage at the Montreal Eaton Centre for BMX Flatland, urban dance, Breaking, and colourful sports showcases.

An outdoor stage at Esplanade PVM at Place Ville Marie, where competitions unfold beneath the iconic Ring. The Esplanade will also feature public sports stations in collaboration with the RSEQ.

The M.A.D. Pop-Up Market at Time Out Market Montréal, where visitors can browse and shop creations from dozens of local businesses.
