No Montreal snow in the forecast for Halloween — but it could get messy

The October 31 forecast is in for Montreal and while there’s no snow in sight, things are looking wet.

With Halloween around the corner, Montrealers are checking the weather obsessively thanks to a recent frost warning and the Farmers’ Almanac winter 2025-2026 extended weather forecast.

Promising a return to traditional winter weather patterns this winter—epic storms, deep freezes and frequent snowfall included—the weather predictions for Montreal are wet.

What is the weather forecast for October 31, 2025?

According to The Weather Network, the chance of precipitation is between 20 and 30 percent.

Humidity levels are set to reach 87% with wind gusts up to 17km per hour.

Daytime temperatures will reach 11 °C with partly sunny skies, while the evening will be partly cloudy, with clouds clearing overnight and temperatures dropping to around 7 °C.

However, there is a 60% chance of rain in the forecast for November 1, 2025, with up to 10mm expected.

Time Out Tip: Montreal recently broke an all-time daily rainfall record with over 150 mm of rain, so keep an eye on the forecast when planning your costume and night out.

What was the warmest Halloween in Montreal?

In 2024, the temperature in the city hit 24.4 C reaching nearly three degrees above the 1956 record for Oct. 31 which was 21.7 C according to Environment Canada.
