One of the best parts of planning a trip is hunting for the perfect accommodation, and Airbnb is a go-to for finding properly unique places to stay. Whether we’re window shopping or weighing up our options, many of us spend ages wishlisting homes on the app – and now the platform has revealed which properties have been wishlisted most ahead of the summer season.

From a five-bed jungle oasis on the northeastern coast of Mexico to a striking designer micro-chalet tucked away in Quebec, there’s sure to be some solid summer inspo in this list. Just take a look at the homes below.

These are the most sought-after homes on Airbnb for the summer

The views that this place has of the Smokies is enough of a selling point, but the dazzling al-fresco terrace, theatre room and jacuzzi all top it off spectacularly.
