As we near the end of 2022, no doubt you’re already looking ahead to next year’s travel plans. And if you’re a bit strapped for ideas? Well, we’ve got just the thing. The travel gurus over at Lonely Planet have announced their Best in Travel list for 2023, highlighting a tonne of travel experiences that should be on your radar over the next 12 months.

This year’s Lonely Planet list is split into five categories, with each one featuring six destinations. Here’s what they’ve chosen.
