Time Out says

Walton (1935–2010) lived and worked for most his career in Philadelphia, supporting himself for a long time as a commercial printmaker, before becoming an instructor at the Moore College of Art & Design. His sculptures were often made of the same materials he'd encounter as a printmaker, such as wood, lead and steel. And though his stylistic vocabulary borrowed heavily from late-’60s postminimalism, Walton's works posses a quiet mystery that is all their own.
