Leah Raintree, “Another Land: After Noguchi”

Although Raintree’s photos could be mistaken for a NASA probe’s flyby images of an asteroid or a moon, they’re actually close-ups of Noguchi sculptures lit against black backdrops. The result teases out the cosmic timelessness of his work.
