Miriam Böhm, Rosy Keyser and Erin Shirreff

These three artists share an interest in exploring the highly subjective nature of visual perception. Each in her own way also takes a conceptual tack that is as sensual as it is cerebral. Böhm creates tableaux out of rephotographed photos. Shirreff offers collages cut from the pages of books. And Keyser's paintings incorporate sculptural elements that seem to function simultaneously as both abstract and figurative forms.
