“Mundos Alternos: Art and Science Fiction in the Americas”

This survey brings together Hispanic artists from Latin America and the U.S.A. who use motifs borrowed from science fiction to explore the historical impact of colonialism—putting the alien, as it were, into the alienating consequences of European expansionism.
