The work of this thirtysomething painter features surreal groups of figures populating indeterminate spaces in which they seem to relate to one another in ways that seems psychologically charged (but then again, maybe not). Though her style conforms to the Neo-Expressionism revival that characterizes a lot of recent painting, she renders her canvases with a distinctive sense of panache.
