"The String and the Mirror"

Sound as "a concept, relationship, signal, metaphor and tangent—but not a form" is the focus of this group show of sound-related artworks by artists who are both emerging, and have been around for a while. Keeping with its LES setting, the exhibit takes a grittier, less tech-oriented approach to the genre than MoMA's current survey of the field, "Soundings."
