Green-Wood's Celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War

This two-day commemoration combines Memorial Day events with those marking the anniversary of the Civil War's first battles. On Sunday, reenactors will play a concert of traditional military tunes and then lead a procession through the candlelit graves of more than 4,500 Civil War veterans. Monday features the13th annual Memorial Day concert by the New York City students in the ISO Symphonic Band.
