Meghan Daum

Novelist and essayist Daum currently lives in Los Angeles, but her new book, Life Would Be Perfect If I Lived in that House, recalls a life of moving. She goes through houses (in New Jersey, NYC, L.A., even Kansas) like a long list of lovers (the analogy is hers). She finally settles for one in Echo Park, but as this funny book proves, settling down is never as much fun as the chase.
