In the Garden of Sonic Delights

The Caramoor festival's standing electroacoustic installation gets a one-day-only bonus cut today, when David Tudor's Rainforest IV is discussed and presented, at 1pm. A panel on experimental sound art follows at 3pm. At 5pm, virtuoso pianist Vicky Chow will play Tristan Perich's Surface Image (for piano and 40 speakers with electronics).
