[title]Good news: The gals of MeanRed Productions are bringing back their superfun, no-holds-barred Dark Disco shindigs on Saturday, February 9. Huzzah! Adding to the hosannas is the fact that it’s being held in the always-fun dim sum joint–cum–oddball nightclub 88 Palace, just in time for the Year of the Snake. Upping the stakes yet further: The lineup is killer, with postdubstep (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) kingpins Jacques Greene and Martyn joined by young gun Phil Canty—better known as Morri$—who makes and plays a revved-up hybrid sound that he and his colleagues at Team Bear Club (the Lawrence, Kansas party collective he heads up) have dubbed “goombawave.” Curiosity piqued?
