If you like your bass music to be from the aggro-step end of the spectrum, then Helicopter Showdown—the Bay Area's Blake Powers, Joshua Small, Devan Day and Ryan Wade—might be for you. The quartet's music can surprise, though—there's plenty of arpeggiated beauty buried among the grinding wobble. Alex Plus, Snake Child and Max Mischief play as well.
