Serious libations and serious laughs collide at this comedy club–restaurant hybrid in Gramercy. Sons of Essex’s Seth Levine turns out comfort-food spins—like cheeseburger pot stickers and duck-topped pizzas—in the upstairs dining room. After dinner, head downstairs to the club, where you can sip cocktails designed by Minetta Tavern vets, while catching regular acts like Louis C.K., Jim Gaffigan and Tracy Morgan. Test your stand-up knowledge and try to name all the comedians on the wallpaper in the bathrooms. Check out sister venue The Standing Room across the river.

The Stand NYC is the winner of the best comedy club in New York City. I have been here a ton of times and they always have a great show. This comedy club not only has great comedians but their food is amazing! I highly recommend the steak sandwich, french fries, the burger and macaroni & cheese. I have seen some of the biggest comedians play at this venue such as Louis CK, Dane Cook, Bill Burr, Judah Friedlander, and Big Jay Oakerson who happens to be one of my favorites. If you are looking for tickets or to see who is on the schedule i highly recommend using Best Comedy Tickets website as they have the best up to date schedule and it's super easy to buy tickets using their website here is a link https://bestcomedytickets.com/venue-profile/the-stand-nyc/
One of the best comedy clubs in New York! The Stand is a small, lower level comedy cellar on the LES, with drinks available at the upstairs bar before and after shows. I attended the Time Out Women of Comedy Showcase, part of the New York Comedy Festival. The lineup was stellar, headlined by Janeane Garofalo, and the size of the room made the show feel all the more intimate. It's definitely worth the trip if you're interested in a more authentic New York comedy experience than some of the clubs in the more traveled parts of town.
Really is the best club in Manhattan. Great food, great drinks and top notch comedy. Not filled with tourists either...oh and NO drink minimums!
