Brill has had an interesting year; he was stripped of his longtime role as comedy booker at Late Night with David Letterman soon after controversy erupted regarding comments he made in a New York Times article. But he's been a stand-up for some time, and no doubt by now has found a way to incorporate the difficulty into his warm, snappy routine.
