"Alwin Nikolais’s Total Theater of Motion"

Through Jan 15. Mon, Thu noon–8pm; Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat noon–6pm. Dance-history scholar Claudia Gitelman curates this exhibition showcasing the career of Alwin Nikolais, whose vision of theatrical design, as well as choreography, helped revolutionize dance in the 20th century. Visitors will be immersed in a world of color, sound, motion and light; the exhibition includes videos of works for stage and television, along with artifacts, documents, designs and photographs from the archival collections of the performing arts library.
