WNYC’s three-night lecture series on New York’s food scene doubles as an insider tell-all. On Oct 22, chefs including Eddie Huang (Baohaus), Ed Schoenfeld (RedFarm) and Chris Parachini (Roberta’s) will discuss how they opened successful restaurants in the city, and on Oct 30, Bill Telepan (Telepan) will share tips for making kid-friendly cuisine during a cooking demo. The panels, hosted by James Beard Award–winning journalist Leonard Lopate, will be followed by tastings of Martin's Pretzels, Original Sin Cider and Lagunitas Beer.
