What’s better than having beautiful flowers delivered to your home? Answer: Knowing in a week or month’s time, there will be a brand-new, stunning bouquet on your doorstep—with no effort required from you!

Local flower delivery company Iris & Virgil gets it, which is why the brand (founded in 2016) offers a subscription-based service for folks who want to brighten their pad or office with fresh blooms on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. We chatted with owner Victoria Singolda to learn more about her floral venture and why her service is a game-changer for New Yorkers.

The concept is simple and definitely busy New Yorker-approved. After a consult with Singolda (she takes your bloom requests and asks for your preferred color palette and height of the arrangement) your bouquet is sent to the location of your choosing. You will be billed monthly, and can opt for deliveries either once a month ($150), bi-weekly ($300) or weekly ($600). Each shipment comes with a designer-selected vase, which is replaced every time you receive a new order.

Better yet, Iris & Virgil will collect and dispose of your old, limp flowers, so the only thing you have to do is answer the door—and provide your credit card number in advance, of course. The hassle-free service (automated billing, plus the added advantage of pausing or increasing deliveries at any time) makes this one hell of a deal, especially if you’re a building manager or business owner. Let’s face it, you’ve got enough to worry about. Let Iris & Virgil handle it all. The brand can even help you impress a hard-to-shop-for relative, friend or significant other. ‘Tis the season for gift-giving, and who doesn't love to recieve a gorgeous vase of flowers?

If you’ve got the green thumb and want to learn the ins-and-outs of floral arrangement for yourself, Iris & Virgil also offers at-home or in-studio workshops and classes. They provide all the tools and necessary ingredients so you can focus on getting creative. But, if you want to leave the arranging to the pros, the delivery service is pretty ace. And, hey, it’s nice to have something to look forward to the next time your buzzer rings, isn’t it?
