Deakin + Prince Rama

Despite his absence from Animal Collective's 2009 LP, Merriweather Post Pavilion, AC member Deakin (Josh Dibb) still shows off his band's sensibility, as his solo work carves out the space in between Avey Tare's jarring pop songs and Panda Bear's pretty drone. Tonight, Dibb will join the like-minded Prince Rama for an extremely atmospheric and psychedelic night of rock, as part of the New Museum's new Get Weird series.
