Dylan LeBlanc + Mia Riddle

Long-haired 20-year old Louisiana singer-songwriter Dylan LeBlanc has something of the young Jackson Browne to his look and his music, though his singing style is reedy and questing, in a Fleet Foxes vein. He recently released his debut full-length, Pauper's Field, on Rough Trade, which features guest vocals from Emmylou Harris. Local songsmith Mia Riddle offers urgent, affecting roots pop, enhanced by a tastefully edgy backing band.
