El Cimarrón

Ted Huffman, Robert Ainsley and Zack Winokur bring Hans Werner Henze's music to new life in this production. Adapted by Hans Magnus from Miguel Barnet's book about Afro-Cuban slave Esteban Montejo (whose life spanned more than a century of Cuban history), El Cimarrón features four dancers accompanied by International Contemporary Ensemble members Claire Chase, Daniel Lippel and Nathan Davis.
