Florence and the Machine + Civil Twilight

Florence and the Machine is 24-year-old British singer Florence Welch, and she’s the latest in a long line of British lady-eccentrics with a penchant for tribal drum-thwacking and whirling-dervish dance moves (see also: Kate Bush, Bat for Lashes). Welch’s debut album, Lungs, was a huge hit in England, but it’s her live shows that have turned her into a bona fide pop star; expect stage antics and fantastical costumes galore at tonight's show.
