Gene Pritsker’s Sound Liberation + Franz Hackl's IDO

Pritsker and several of his comrades come out of the classical-music world, but fuse that pedigree with elements of funk, rock, jazz and hip-hop. Tonight the band showcases music from an upcoming CD, VRE Suite, on a bill shared with Austrian trumpeter Franz Hackl's similarly genre-traversing IDO.
