Gerald Cleaver & Uncle June

The Palimpsestic Series, Barbès' progressive-jazz showcase, welcomes drumming ace Gerald Cleaver, leading his Uncle June ensemble in support of a striking new release, Be It as I See It., which showcases Cleaver's lush, tender compositions. The top-notch supporting cast includes reedists Andrew Bishop and Tony Malaby, violist Mat Maneri, keyboardist Craig Taborn and bassist Javier Moreno.
