Instant Composers Pool Orchestra

This long-running Dutch collective anchored by droll pianist Misha Mengelberg and madcap percussionist Han Bennink is both gleefully anarchic and deeply committed to the jazz tradition—and it’s that paradoxical balance that keeps ICP fresh and surprising year after year.
