Trumpeter-producer Mark Morganelli, who hosted jazz royalty at his downtown Jazz Forum from 1979 to ’83, reconvenes some of those players for a 35th-anniversary bash at NYU. The superb cast features Kenny Barron, Sonny Fortune, Billy Hart, Jon Hendricks, Candido, David Amram and many more.
