Joe McPhee and Trio X + Trio Caveat

Running strong for more than a decade, Trio X is the working band of choice for avant-jazz legend Joe McPhee, a master of many horns—not to mention temperaments and timbres. Expect to witness a deep communion as he takes the stage tonight alongside bassist Dominic Duval and drummer Jay Rosen. Opening is another tight-knit experimental combo, including saxist Jonathan Moritz, bassist James Ilgenfritz and guitarist Chris Welcome.
