The name of reedist Marty Ehrlich's latest group provides a clue to its composition: yes, four alto saxophones, wielded by Ehrlich, Andy Laster, Michaël Attias and Ned Rothenberg. But we wonder if the group's name, a play on a famous Anthony Braxton album title, foreshadows a stylistic nod to that protean creator as well.
