Trumpet luminaries Tom Harrell, Randy Brecker and Jeremy Pelt, along with saxists Dave Liebman (a former Miles Davis sideman) and Eric Alexander, survey a wide swath of the late, great hornman's career, from elegant bop to gritty fusion.
