Mr. Jonathan Toubin celebrates the fifth birthday of his rock & roll party machine, New York Night Train, with a major-league Halloween hullabaloo at Williamsburg's Secret Project Robot. Toubin, joined by Nation of Ulysses frontman Ian Svenonius and Josh styles of the Smashed! Block! shindig, spin seven-inch 45s, including plenty of spooky-season specials; live music comes courtesy of Svenonius, No Bra, Preacher and the Knife, Religious to Damn, Love Struck and Suicide in a Shoebox; Anna Copa Cabana, Hula-Hoop Harlot Melissa-Anne and Cult of Youth's Micki Pellerano dazzle the senses; and that fine slice of stop-action cinema, Mad Monster Party, gets a screening. Did we mention the haunted crypt?
