Parachute + Matt Hires + Andrew Ripp

The pop-rock band Parachute has opened for Kelly Clarkson and the Script; tonight, the Virginia group plays behind its brand-new third album, Overnight. Support comes from Matt Hires, a doe-eyed Floridian singer-songwriter with a slight warble to his voice that probably makes his folk-pop songs slightly too interesting for supermarket radio. Which, of course, is no bad thing.
