Propensity of Sound: Elaine Radigue's Naldjorlak

French composer Elaine Radigue has been responsible for some of the most remarkably transcendent electronic drone works anyone has ever produced. Since 2001 she has turned her attention to acoustic works; here, in Issue's stately future home in Downtown Brooklyn, cellist Charles Curtis and basset-horn players Carol Robinson and Bruno Martinez offer the U.S. premiere of her two-and-a-half hour triptych, Naldjorlak.
