Rhett Miller + Harper Simon

Rhett Miller's Old 97's were never going to get Wilco-level attention for their spot-on alt-country, but the act remains one of the best bar bands in the land; Miller is currently touring his fourth, self-titled, solo album, a sweetly rootsy affair. Harper Simon (yes, Paul's son) opens the show; vocally, he sounds remarkably like his dad, but he favors twangy, country arrangements for his wistful songs.
